Union Chapel Music Ministry VISION
The VISION for the music ministry of Union Chapel church is best expressed through the scriptures.
Simply put, that means that the music, musicians, singers and technical support team are committed to giving God our total selves (Deuteronomy 6:5).
To that end we strive to not only learn more about God, but to love God more as we live, learn, love and lead others to a deeper level of fellowship with our Sovereign Lord, understanding that the music ministry is a vital link to the pastoral and preached word ministry
(2 Chronicles 20: 20 – 22).
Secondly, the VISION demands that we work to insure that our lives line up with what we sing, and that our singing becomes the ministry expression of His love for all those we encounter (Ephesians 5:19).
Third, the VISION calls for the release of the anointing to serve through music ministry by embracing a teachable spirit, adopting a spirit of excellence, and allowing the spirit of praise and worship to be the basis for the music we select, the venues that we accept and the expected end that God has for His people (2 Timothy 2:15)
Lastly, that the expressed VISION become a part of every rehearsal as a reminder that our goal is to reach the lost for Christ, encourage the believers who listen regularly or occasionally, affording everyone the opportunity to receive healing, deliverance, hope and peace
(Habakkuk 2:2, 3).
We endeavor to wait for and walk toward the VISION with anticipation.
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of Hosts (Zechariah 4:6) NKJV.
