About Beatrice G. Lee
Beatrice G. Lee was an educator, freedom fighter, historian and leader in her church and community and a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Movement. As an alumnus of Virginia's St. Paul College and an active member of the NAACP, Mrs. Lee reminded us that the struggle is not over and encouraged us to understand the importance of our history, culture and the value of education.
The Scholarship Fund
As a Sunday School Superintendent, Trustee and Co-Chair of The Union Chapel Scholarship Fund, The Fund was renamed in her honor. Mrs. Lee was committed to youth development and we are proud to continue the advancement of students to further their education.
