Minister
Patricia F. Wright First
Lady of Union Chapel Church Min.
Patricia Wright is a native of Plainfield, NJ. After graduating from
Plainfield High School, Min. Pat continued her education through Seton
Hall University and Philadelphia College of Bible, Liberty Corner, N.J.
campus. Minister Patricia’s early desire to know the one true and
living God was cultivated at St. John’s Baptist Church in Scotch
Plains, N.J. As Min. Patricia became an adult, she continued to grow in
Christ through fellowship with Second Baptist Church in Rahway, N.J. During the late eighties, sensing a desire for “more of
God”, Sis. Pat
and her family moved to Hillside, N.J. Min.
Patricia and family became members of First Baptist Church, Hillside
where her desire to teach, mentor women and call to ministry became
apparent. Much like the Prophet Jeremiah, Minister Patricia experienced
life’s joys and disappointments. However, she continued steadfast in
her trust in God. Her zeal for God led her to Antioch Baptist Church,
Springfield, N.J. where her gifts were embraced and developed. In 2004, “Sis. Pat” married her best friend Pastor Samuel
M. Wright, Jr., pastor of Union Chapel Church, Union, N.J. Together they
allowed the Lord to use them to write their first book, “Shoes for the Shoemaker”, the
vision Pastor Wright received to assist Clergy and other servant
leaders. A licensed Missionary, through Evangelist Yurvette Maxfield,
First Lady of Gravel Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Newark, N.J. Min.
Patricia became a licensed Minister at Union Chapel in 2006. Min.
Patricia serves as an adult Sunday school teacher, Women’s Ministry
facilitator, and Children’s church coordinator. As an active prayer
intercessor, Minister Patricia has witnessed the promises of God for
those who are willing to trust Him. Together Pastor and First Lady are the proud parents of five
adult children and two grandchildren. One of Min. Patricia’s favorite scriptures is Jeremiah
29:11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the
Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a
hope. N.K.J.V.
